another season over with :(

4:07 p.m. - 2004-04-04

So hockey is done for another season...arrghh..lol. This weekend I had another tournament in Scarborough...we ended up losing in the Championships, d'oh! This year was definitely not the year for tourneys...oh well...there's always next year :). My goal tally went up another 3 goals for the tourney and another 4 assists. Respectable but definitely not up to Gretzky standards! I'm probably not going to play roller hockey this year either - just another part of saving some time. I still plan on working out and running and all my other activities but I think I need a break from hockey. I played quite a bit of it this past winter and sometimes a break will get you energized for the next season.

So as for that not too much else is going on in the life of J.Wight. Work has been insanely busy since I've been back and the fact that I was sick for a couple days didn't help. My promotion starts on May 13 so I have to turnover all my current work as well. Pretty crazy.

I'm soooo looking forward to easter this year - I just want to go back and hang out with bro and friends. The girl front is the same as usual, nothing major on that front. The Karen thing still seems to bother me...even though I haven't talked to her for a dog's age. I think it's one of those things that as soon as I find another girl to take her place then I'll be alright. I just haven't found someone yet...:P. It'll happen eventually...I'm just SO tired of waiting - there are so many parts of my life that I want to share with someone - I think that's the part I hate the most. I'm super glad to see bro with someone - he actually seems to be pretty happy, and the girl he's with is super fun. That's probably the biggest thing - people have to realize that ALL looks fade...face it people..unless you're rich and powerful you will probably end up with someone that will eventually look like someone off the golden girls (ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww). However, if you meet someone that will make you smile every day that you're together...because they are funny, or easy going, and can make you laugh when you're feeling down - THAT'S what you need to hold on to! Of course, don't get me wrong - there has to be a spark of some sort to begin with...but sparks tend to fade. Anyways, you get the picture...lol.
