off to Ireland!!

Well, this'll be the last entry for awhile. I'm heading to the emerald Isle for a couple weeks so I won't get a chance to get on the computer much. I may update my journal here if I need a break from the drinking of course :).

So the past couple days have been fun! After work on Friday I took the GO train downtown Toronto to go to Mountain Equipment Co-op. I have to say, that store is EVIL...EVIL, EVIL, EVIL!! I love it - I probably could have spent all the money I have in that store...which is scary if you think about it :). I ended up spending over 400 bucks on a new backpack, jacket, and some hiking shoes. I had a couple more things in my hand as I approached the cash register but I thought better of it and held off on buying more stuff. The GO train was an adventure - I didn't really have to take the train but I didn't want to deal with all the traffic and such so I decided that a nice relaxing ride would be kinda fun. Plus it was sort of an adventure and I love adventures :). There's something about the Toronto atmosphere that I love so much. I love to "people" watch and T dot is a great place to do that! I bought a couple Canadian flags for my backpack as well.

I also got my hair cut on Saturday. Sometimes I just want to go to the hairdresser and ask them "Do you REALLY think what you did to my hair actually LOOKS good???" I've found that I never get a good haircut...it's always too short, too long, too lopsided, etc. etc.. I always end up fixing it when I get home :P. I guess I shouldn't complain - I still have all my hair..hehehe.

Anyways, I've finally finished all my errands for the day and my stuff is packed. My brother is coming up tonight to stay over - he has the lucky task to drive me to the airport in the morning..woohoo! My plane leaves at 9 so I'll have to be there for about 7'ish. Should be a FUN time. I'll catch everyone in a couple weeks!!
