sooooo stuffed...

5:54 p.m. - 2004-03-03

oooooooooooooo...I'm so stuffed right now! I had a pretty busy day at work today - I ended up going to the Mandarin for lunch. I have to say, I think it's one of the best places to eat. I must have eaten 20 bucks worth of sushi alone..plus 2 plates of full course meals, and a plate of desert...annnnnd ice cream! mmmmmmm...soo stuffed right now!

Other than that my day has been pretty much uneventful. My good friend Greg is pissing me off lately though. He's a contractor working at the nuke plant where I work. He's a really smart guy and has some pretty cool philosophies about life, but I have to say, some times he does FUCK ALL at work. It didn't used to bother me that much but lately he has done nothing. I walk by his office and see him either on the classifieds, or looking up words in dictionary, or calling up girls that he "hangs" out with (umm..he's married by the way). My cubicle is right next to his and all day all I hear are phone conversations and chatting ALL the time. Everyone needs a break for a little chat time but this is ridiculous. I've actually been giving him some of my work (due to my impending promotion) to try to get him to do something but it doesn't seem to be working. I've been a little bitter with him the last couple days. And as usual with office politics, a couple of our mutual friends have commented on it...aka. the fact that I've been bitter with Greg. No worries though, everyone knows that he's been fucking the dog, and in a climate where all the contractors are over paid, none of us are too happy.

It'll all blow over though, he's still a good friend so I'll eventually accept his behaviour soon. You can see how that can suck though eh? You're busting your ass to get work done and you've got a contractor doing shit all the whole day. Anyways, that's my quick rant for the day :).

Hmmm...no other real news to speak of. I'm trying to get our new product line for Devour ready for next week. It's just a manifold for an oil sampler but we can proabably make 10 or 11 bucks on it. Hopefully we sell a couple thousand a year...maybe more. It's more of a sideline thing to our inspection biz but diversity is good! Since I won't be here next week my dad's going to look after it. I've got some other ideas but I think it's better to focus on one thing at a time for now!
