Here we go again...

Alrighty,

It's been awhile since I've blogged but I feel the need to vent. Again, it has to do with the opposite sex...that is...females.

K...since I've last blogged on here I've pretty much sorted out my feelings for my ex. Karen. After several chats with her and hanging out I pretty much realized that we will never be more than friends - so I've dealt with it, and I'm over her...which is a good thing! I needed to be over her :).

However, Now I'm in a different situation. I've actually found a way to really like someone again - it's been awhile since that's happened. I'm not someone that falls for people that easily - a lot of things have to come together. They have to be smart, funny, attractive, physically active, a sweetheart, shy but not shy, etc. etc.. This girl is all of that - the problem is that she has a BOYFRIEND (please note capital letters). Ironically enough, I was completely aware that she had a boyfriend before I started to like her - I could have EASILY looked the other way, but I didn't. I HAD to fall for her - I really think I'm a sucker for punishment...really I do. On a side note, she also happens to be my best friends' wifes sister. I've seen her before but I just really got to know her at my best friends wedding a couple weeks ago - she was the maid of honor, I was a groomsman.

So having said all that - her name also happens to be KAREN. Of all the names she had to have that one! For those who forget Karen is the name of my ex.. So as humorous as it is to everyone, now I'm stuck. I don't know how to proceed here....I can't forget about her, because that's not how I operate. Yet I can't just go ask her out - for obvious reasons. Soooo...what do I do??? On the bright side, my best friends wife Kristina, who is also my friend, has indicated that the boyfriend may not be around for long. I've met the guy and he's a bit of a dumbass - he looks and acts exactly like Stiffler from american pie...quite funny really :). She's pretty intelligent(Masters/PhD) so I doubt she'd stay interested in him for long. So my plan right now is to keep chatting with her on msn...become her friend...but not too much like a friend...if you know what I mean...lol. Anyways...ANY help here would be appreciated.

Oh yeah - and I've convinced her to go see her sister and my best friend in London England for New Years this yr with me - and she's not planning on bringing a boyfriend...hmmmm....I think that's a good thing?! My brother and his fiance are also planning on going..and possibly Karen's brother and wife...so there will be lots of people there...but no boyfreind :). I'll keep those that read this updated...if ppl. are interested... :)
